Okay, here is my sharing about the “oracle deck cards” experience:
Yesterday, I got this oracle deck cards. I saw some introduction said that 5 minutes a day can bring clarity to your life. I don’t believe that, so I bought this one, only cost me about 19 bucks.
When I received the cards, I opened them immediately. The cards feel pretty good in hand. And the pattern on the card is beautiful. They are about destination and location or something. There are 78 cards inside the box.
Then I tried to shuffle the cards. Oh, it’s a little hard for me to shuffle them ’cause they’re a little big. I tried several times and got used to it.
Next, I followed the instruction that came with the cards and started to do a reading. The instruction said to focus on my question while shuffling. So I closed my eyes and thought about my question: “What will happen tomorrow?”
After shuffling, I drew a card from the deck. It’s a card with a picture of a mountain. I flipped it and read the meaning on it. It said something like “challenges and obstacles.” I thought, “Oh, that’s not very good.”
I’m not sure if this thing really works. Some people say they are divination, some say they can contact the dead or something, I don’t think so. Maybe I will try it again tomorrow. Anyway, the cards are a good decoration on my desk.
In the following days, I drew cards every day before I went to work. I found that it’s kind of interesting. It became my new hobby now. I even started to write down the cards I drew every day and what happened on that day.
- On Monday, I drew the “Forest” card. The meaning said something about “growth” and “new beginnings.” That day, I got a new project at work.
- On Tuesday, I drew the “Sea” card. It talked about “emotions” and “intuition.” I had a heart-to-heart talk with my friend that day.
- On Wednesday, I drew the “Desert” card. It mentioned “solitude” and “reflection.” I spent the whole day alone, reading a book.
It seems like the cards do have some kind of magic. At least, they made me pay more attention to my daily life. Now I feel more connected to myself and the world around me.
I recommend you guys to try it out, too. It’s really fun and it may bring you some unexpected surprises.
But remember, don’t take it too seriously. It’s just a game, a tool, or a kind of spiritual pursuit. Don’t let it control your life. You are the master of your own destiny.
