Okay, so today I decided to try something totally new for me – tarot card reading in Marathi. You wouldn’t believe how hard it was to find someone who could teach me, seriously. I searched everywhere, flipping through YouTube, but most videos were, like, super basic. I wanted something deeper, you know?
I finally stumbled upon this series called “Tarot by the Tree.” It wasn’t in Marathi, but it was all about understanding the cards, not just memorizing them. It talked about the symbols and stuff on each card. Pretty cool, right?
Getting Started
I didn’t have anyone to practice on, so I just started by reading for myself. I know, I know, it sounds a little weird. But hey, gotta start somewhere! I just pulled one card at a time. I shuffled the deck, focused on a question or just my general situation, and then pulled a card.
- First Try: My first card was The Fool. The “Tarot by the Tree” videos described it as new beginnings and taking a leap of faith. I’m in a bit of a transitional period in my life, so it felt oddly fitting.
- Second Try: I asked about a specific project I was working on, and I got The Magician. That made me think about using my skills and resources effectively. I actually got a new idea for the project after that!
- Third Try: This time, I just asked about my day in general. I got the Two of Cups, which is about partnerships and connections. I ended up having a really nice conversation with my neighbor, whom I rarely talk to. Coincidence? Maybe. But still interesting!
I’m keeping a journal of my readings. I write down the date, the question (if I had one), the card I pulled, and what I think it means in that moment. Also, I wrote down how it connects to what happens that day.
Honestly, I’m still a total newbie at this. The cards and their meanings are starting to stick a bit better. I try to do it every day even if it’s just for a few minutes. It’s kind of like a little meditation for me now.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure into the world of tarot so far. It is way more interesting than I expected. I feel like it’s helping me pay more attention to my intuition or something. Who knows, maybe I’ll get good enough to read for other people someday!
