Scorpio and Pisces Combined Tattoo: Whats the Coolest Design Idea for Your Zodiac Ink?

Okay, so, I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now. I’m a Pisces, and my partner is a Scorpio, and I really wanted something that kinda represents both of us, you know? So, I started looking into combining our zodiac signs into a single tattoo design.

First, I jumped onto Pinterest. Typed in “Scorpio and Pisces tattoo combined” and, oh boy, the ideas! There were so many pins and boards about this. People are really into this kind of thing! I spent hours just scrolling through all the different designs and saving the ones I liked.

I started noticing some common themes. Lots of them used the actual symbols for Pisces (the two fish) and Scorpio (the scorpion). Some were pretty simple, just the symbols intertwined, while others were way more complex, with floral patterns and detailed line work around them. Some were just simple black lines but others were colorful like sea green, purple, and turquoise. After some consideration, I started thinking about combining the rose and the fish together in my design.

Then, I started digging a little deeper into what each sign represents. I already knew some of this stuff, but it was cool to see how the characteristics of each sign could be shown in a tattoo. Like, Pisces is all about intuition and being in tune with emotions, so the designs often had this flowing, watery vibe. Scorpio is known for being passionate and intense, so those tattoos often had sharper lines and a more powerful feel. The rose has always been a symbol for the Scorpios, which could mean inner resilience and courage. Also, I found that the koi fish is a popular choice for Pisces tattoo ideas. How can I combine these together?

After all that research, I finally had a clearer idea of what I wanted. I decided to go with a design that incorporates both the symbols and also captures the essence of each sign. For Pisces, I wanted something that showed the fluidity and depth of water, maybe with some swirling patterns or something. For Scorpio, I was thinking of something that represented strength and passion, probably with the scorpion looking fierce and ready to defend. And I really like the idea of incorporating some color, like blues and greens for the water, and maybe a deep red or black for the scorpion.

So, I started sketching out some ideas. Now, I’m no artist, but I just wanted to get a rough idea down on paper. I tried a few different versions, playing around with the placement of the symbols and the overall style.

Finally, I found a tattoo artist whose work I really liked. I sent them my sketches and all the reference images I had collected. They were super helpful and had some great suggestions to make the design even better. We talked about the size, the placement on my body, and the colors. We decided to put it on my left shoulder.

After a few weeks of going back and forth, we finalized the design. I booked an appointment, and a few days ago, I finally got it done! It was a bit painful, ngl, but totally worth it. The tattoo turned out even better than I had imagined. It’s a beautiful piece of art that perfectly represents my partner and me. It’s a constant reminder of our connection and the unique qualities we each bring to the relationship.

Here’s what I learned from this whole experience:

  • Pinterest is a goldmine for tattoo ideas. Seriously, you can find anything on there.
  • It’s super helpful to understand the symbolism behind the signs or images you’re incorporating into your tattoo.
  • Don’t be afraid to sketch out your own ideas, even if you’re not an artist. It helps to visualize what you want.
  • Find a tattoo artist whose style you vibe with and who’s willing to collaborate with you on the design.
  • Getting a tattoo can be a really meaningful experience. It’s a way to express yourself and carry a special reminder with you always.

So yeah, that’s my story of getting a Scorpio and Pisces combined tattoo. I’m so happy with how it turned out, and I’m excited to show it off!
