Alright, folks, gather ’round! Today, I’m gonna share my experience with the Scorpio 9mm 115 grain ammo. I’ve been meaning to try this stuff out for a while, and I finally got my hands on some.
So, first off, I ordered a batch online. I was looking around, and these were priced pretty well, so I thought, “Why not?” It took a little while to get here, but that’s no biggie. I’ve heard some chatter about the 124-grain version, but I went with the 115-grain for starters.
When the package finally arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. Ripped that box open and there they were. Shiny and new. Now, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Scorpio ammo – reliable, accurate, the whole nine yards. But you never really know until you try it yourself, right?

I started plinking away. First few shots, I was just getting a feel for it. Then, I really started to focus on my accuracy. I gotta say, these rounds were pretty consistent. I’m no expert marksman, but I was hitting where I aimed, more or less. I blasted through about 150 rounds, and I didn’t have a single misfire or jam. That’s a big plus in my book. These little guys are pretty clean, too. Didn’t leave a bunch of gunk in my gun, which is always nice.
I also did a quick weight test back home, cause I was curious. Weighed one of these 115-grain bad boys, and it came out to 12 grams. So, a box of 1000 should be around 12 kilograms. Not that I’m planning to carry that much around, but it’s good to know.
Wrapping It Up
So, what’s the verdict? I’m pretty happy with the Scorpio 9mm 115 grain ammo. It’s reliable, it’s accurate, and it doesn’t break the bank. Would I recommend it? Yeah, I think I would. Especially if you’re just looking for something to practice with, these are a solid choice. I might even try out the 124-grain ones next time, just to see how they compare. But for now, I’m giving these a thumbs up. Go give it a try.
