Well, howdy there! Let’s yak a bit about this Scorpio birth flower thing. I ain’t no fancy flower expert, but I heard some things, you know, just chit-chat from the neighbors and such. So, let’s see what I can remember.
Scorpio, that’s them folks born ‘round October and November, right? I reckon they got some special flowers. One of ‘em, they say, is the geranium. Yep, geranium. Sounds kinda fancy, but it ain’t nothin’ more than a purdy little flower. I saw some growin’ in the neighbor’s yard last summer.
- Geraniums, they say, stand for strong feelings, bein’ healthy, and toughin’ things out.
- They also kinda keep ya safe and sound, like warmin’ ya up and keepin’ bad stuff away. Makes ya feel all cozy inside.
Now, don’t you go thinkin’ that’s all there is to it. There’s other flowers too, for these Scorpio folks. Some folks say chrysanthemum is another one. That’s a mouthful, ain’t it? I just call ‘em mums. They come in all sorts of colors, like yellow and red and even that purplish color.
Mums, they mean all sorts of things, dependin’ on the color I reckon. But mostly, they mean you got good friends, you’re honest, and you stick by your people. They say puttin’ a bunch of mums in your house brings in good times and luck. Lord knows we could all use a bit of that!
Then there’s this hibiscus flower, the red one. Them Scorpios, they’re born between October 23rd and November 21st, and that red hibiscus, it’s their flower too. They say Scorpios are brave and got a fire in ‘em, so that red flower fits ‘em just right. I tell ya, my grandson is a Scorpio and that boy is always into something.
And there’s more! I heard tell of marigold, amaranth, and peony bein’ Scorpio flowers too. That’s a whole garden full of flowers for one bunch of folks! Makes ya wonder why they get so many.
Let’s not forget the November star flower. Now folks born in November, they can be either Scorpio or Sagittarius. But since we talkin’ about Scorpios, their bloom is the geranium, that one we talked about earlier. See? It all comes back around.
Scorpio season starts ‘round October 22nd and goes to November 20th. And their sign, it looks like a little scorpion. You know, them crawly things with the stingy tails. I ain’t too fond of them critters, but I guess the Scorpios are okay.
This here geranium, it ain’t just one flower, ya know? It’s a whole bunch of ‘em, like more than 400 kinds! That’s a lot of flowers. I guess that means Scorpios got plenty to choose from.
So there ya have it. A whole mess of flowers for them Scorpios. Geraniums, chrysanthemums, hibiscus, marigolds, amaranth, peonies… sounds like a purdy bouquet if you ask me. And they all mean somethin’ special, like bein’ strong and healthy, havin’ good friends, and keepin’ safe and sound. That’s what I heard anyways, just passin’ it along. It seems important to know a bit about these things and you never know when some of this information may come in handy.
If you ask me, flowers are just nice to look at. But if they mean somethin’ special to folks, well, that’s even better. So next time you see a geranium or a mum, maybe you’ll think of a Scorpio and all that good stuff they stand for. Or maybe you’ll just think, “Well, that’s a purdy flower.” And that’s just fine too.
And that’s about all I know ‘bout them Scorpio flowers. Hope it made some sense. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my own flowers. Them weeds, they grow faster than you can blink!
